The panels can be integrated into your existing roof, mounted above the roof or ground mounted
Celtic Solar only installs solar panels that are approved under the government's Microgeneration Certification Scheme and conform to EN 12975 parts 1 and 2 - the European Standard for solar panel performance and durability
What's Involved ?
The road to solar water heating begins with a free survey of your property. Our system designer will discuss with you how the solar system will work in conjunction with your existing water heating arrangements and offer advice as to which system will best suit your property and your pocket. We will then provide a written quotation by post or e-mail
If you decide to proceed, installation usually takes just two days, with minimal disruption. Our own team of fully trained and experience installers will firstly fit the panels, and then install a new purpose designed solar cylinder in place of your existing hot water cylinder. Highly insulated solar pipework will be run from panels to cylinder and the digital controller installed. The system will be fully tested before being commissioned, and we will fully explain to you how the system operates
The digital controller requires no user intervention and will display the temperatures of the panel and hot water in your cylinder at all times - so you can always see how much energy you're getting free from the sun !
Because we are a Microgeneration Certificaton Scheme accredited installer, householders, schools and other publics sector and not-for-profit organisations are eligible for grants towards their solar hot water systems under the Low Carbon Building Programme
