Air source heat pump Air source heat pumps efficiently extract heat from ambient air to provide both hot water and central heating, providing a warm, comfortable living environment in all weathers, day and night.

They run at efficiencies of up to 400%, far outperforming conventional gas or oil boilers, which run at maximum efficiencies of 95%. This means that, as well as being more economical to run, air source heat pumps systems generate significantly lower CO2 emissions than conventional boilers.

Unlike ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps require no expensive groundworks, and can usually be fitted on an external wall of your property.

Our air source heat pumps range from 5kW to 18kW (maximum power output) -so we can specify the right solution for your requirements. They can be installed in stand alone configuration - or can be combined with solar thermal, wood burners or other energy sources to supply a Thermal Store.
